Anyone with 315 BFG AT's on stock chrome rims... do the tires stick out from the fenders, and if so, how much? I'm just wondering if I can run them without flares here in Pennsylvania, where they have the most antiquated motor vehicle system in the world.

Thanks,

Blake

I have 315's on my stock aluminum rims. Don't stick out of the fenders. I did install Daystar 2" leveling pucks to give me a little extra clearance when turning in a dip (stock they were close to hitting, but cleared unless I tried to turn through a dip).

I'm not too excited about drilling holes to mount fender flares (extend-a's won't cut it, need cut-outs). Only issue i have noticed is the AT tires pick up a lot of small stones and throw them on my travel trailer, so when towing i have an 8' "Rock Guard" I install to protect it. I too have 2" lift in front, works great. Love the added clearance with the 34. 5" tires. BFG's and ProComps are quiet too. My $. 02

Thanks for the response guys. I'm glad they don't stick out.

Speaking of Pro Comps, they had them on sale at the 4 Wheel Jamboree last week - buy 3, get one free. Since I was not familiar with their wearing charactoristics, I figured I'd stick with BFG. I think all in all, I can get them for about the same price.
