I haven't seen it done on one of these trucks but genneraly you will need a new steering arm to put on top of the passengers side knuckle (bolts in place of the top kinpin cover), a different pitman arm, relocate the steering box possibly, couple of TREs, and DOM with inserts to make the draglink.

Gonna take some custom fab work.

example steering arm:

Are you referring to....

all 4x4s in genral, or just the 1st gen Dodge CTDs?

Cause my '91 Geo Tracker will turn on a dime! Now, the '92 W250 that I used to have... well let's just say that it always reminded me of that old song "Gimme 40 Acres and I'll Turn This Rig Around". :-laf :-laf :-laf

Actually, it's fairly straightforward. You don't need a new pitman arm, it is re-clockable and you do have to relocate the steering box to the 2wd position so you will need a new steering shaft (Good time to do a Borgeson).

Here's a link on how to do it from Ramcharger Central:

Great step by step instructions. How much lift is required? I noticed he mentioned he had stock springs but a "RCC" lift?

Looks like the "RCC" lift is lowering the fixed (front) spring eye mount. You will notice his truck looks like it has fangs. These set-ups generally ruin your caster angle making shims a necessity. I am not a fan of these set-ups myself, but people are free to do what they like. The only thing I saw wrong with his set-up was that he didn't have any spacers between the heims and what he was bolting them to. They need to have a free range of motion. His may not bind, but it is something that would need to be checked before it was subjected to real world flex. I also wouldn't use heims on a daily driver. Ok for a weekend warrior, but they would wear rapidly during the daily grind.
