My family owns several hundered acres in northern Michigan, in the middle of nowhere, and we don't own the mineral rights either. A few years ago the state came in, and cut several 200'x200' areas in our land(mature trees) for natural gas wells. We didn't have a say in it, even though its been in the family for 40 years, they can simply do what they want, when they want. They put in 4 natural gas wells, yet we're not allowed to use it, we are stuck with fuel oil.

OK, I give. That sucks, you're getting screwed. There probably isn't any legal recourse is there either, what "company" makes profits from that?

Most of Utah is BLM land. It is public land that is managed by the govt. It is owned by all of us. When I think of govt. land I think of National parks and the like.

National Parks and BLM land is very different. I certainly wouldn't consider doing the things I do on BLM land in a national park.

My wife is a real estate agent, this I know. We were looking at some property and the water rights were in question. We looked into it and it would have been a bad deal to get into. That land was cut from water rights, whoever did buy it got screwed IMO.

Yosemite is government land - so is the Grand Canyon, to name a couple... How much do you think the government controls THEIR use and access by the public?

As I was reading your U. N. statements, I was thinking you probably don't know that a lot of "so called" National Parks have been given over to the U. N. by the former president and our congress.

The World Heritage List was established under terms of the U. N. convention concerning the protection of world culture and Natural Heritage adopted a the 17th General Conference of UNESCO. ------------Congress and Billy turned over many of our National Parks and sites to the UNITED NATIONS.

I live in Colorado, and once I heard this I decided to check it out with my congressman. I talked to several aids at his office who confirmed the following sites were now U. N Biosphere Zones and World Heritage Sites.

1. Colorado Desert "Bioshpere"

2. Fraser Experimental Forest. --- My son was camping near Fraser and came to a barbed wire fence stating that this was a U. N Bioshpere Zone and he was not allowed to enter any further. He scouted around and found a compound with large buildings and people milling around, so since he wasn't suppose to be there, he "lit" out. Our parks --yea right!

3. Mesa Verde National Park

4. Niwot Ridge "Bioshpere" Preserve

5. Rocky Mountain National Park

These are the ones here in Colorado. The list I acquired has a total of 62 on it.

Yellowstone National Park and Yosemite National Park are also now World Heritage sites owned by the United Nations and cared for by U. S. tax payer dollars.

How did this happen? Sovereign American Soil given over to an organization of Communists, bent on the destruction of the American life style and governance.

Washington D. C. should stand for "The district of Criminals".

Lowell do you have any references for your post? I don't question, just want to see for myself before I get as ticked off as I am right now. If what you say is true this is just the beginning of the end.

Well, when my Grandfather purchased the land, it somehow involved unpaid back-taxes from the previous owner(s) (I don't know the entire deal), however, the mineral rights were not even an option for him. It's like the state saying, "It's your land, but not really YOURS".

I got this information from former Colorado Senator Charles Duke in 1996. You may remember him from years back when he went to help out with the "Freeman" uprising in Montana. It made the national news for several months. Anyway, I was a friend of an "aid" at his office and got this list from him.

Sen. Charles Duke resigned not long after the "Freeman" incident. According to my friend, he was fed up with all the lies and deciet in the Fed Government, and since he wasn't able to change anything; like their giving away our Sovereign soil, he quit.

I think he served two terms prior, so he gave it his best for a long time. To bad, I wish there were a lot more like him instead of the "New World Order" Boys we got now. Who knows they may have given more away since I got this list.

Call your Congressman or Senator and ask them in a nice way, where a World Heritage or Biosphere Zone site is near you, because you would like to visit. See what they say.

Just looked again in my library and found some more information from Congressman William Dannemeyer. If you like I can fax it to you, (just pm me with a fax #. ) {this list of Biosphere Reserves show at least 100 sites now controlled by the U. N. }; it has a picture of a State Park in North Carolina. It says

Mount Mitchell

State Park

North Carolina

United Nations

Biosphere Reserve

I looked on the U. S. map in this package which shows areas owned by the U. N. , and as of the time this map was made (96) I think, it shows a U. N. controlled Biosphere in Utah. Check it out to see if this is correct. It's in the Southwest corner and it's called "Desert Expermental Range".

The U. N now also controls 28 American Historical Sites and National Parks, called Heritage Sites; no U. S. developement is permitted to take place in these areas. The U. N. has complete domain. 18 is all I have but they ARE INTERESTING.

1. AK Wrangell - St. Elias NP

2. WA Olympic NP

3. CA Redwood NP

4. CA Yosemite NP

5. Wy Yellowstone NP

6. AZ Grand Canyon NP

7. NM Chaco NHP

8. IL Cahokia Mounds Site

9. KY Mammoth Cave NP

10. NY STATUE OF LIBERTY

11. Co. Mesa Verde NP

12. PA INDEPENDENCE HALL

13. VA Monticello & U. V. A.

14. TN Great Smoky Mountains

15. Fl Everglades NP

16. NM Pueble De Taos

17. HI Hawaii Volcanoes NP

18. PR La Fortaleza & San Juan

Our wonderful, selfless, pulbic servants (elected leaders) have sold us down the river.

For those who own any Real Estate, chances are that you don't own any mineral rights. Out here in Colorado and I assume that it's the same in most states, the Rail Roads back in the late 1800's claimed the rights. If you live in a city the mineral rights are owned by someone, but not you. You can check with the county in which you reside and find out.

Note: Even though you may not own mineral rights, a mining permit has to be issued by the county. Chances are, like here, they will not allow mining in a residential area. The rural areas are different.

Water rights just like mineral rights are entirely separated from Real Estate. If you own water rights you get a separate Deed for them. If you own a parcel of land and want the water rights under the land and no one owns them yet you can go to water court and get adjudicated water rights for about 8K to 10K. ; and then you own them. Here in Colorado you can get 1 acre foot of water for every 1 acre that you own. It is my understanding that this includes all the acquifers beneath the surface.

Surface water rights are another thing; most of those rights were acquired when the land was homesteaded. Sometimes when buying an old farm or ranch those water rights come with the ranch in the sales price and are very valuable, sometimes moreso than the land.

Do a search on "world heritage sites", and prepare to be disgusted, shocked and saddened at how much of our country is no longer under our soverign ownership and direct control...

I have on file a map - probably outdated now as new sites have been added - you'd be AMAZED at how much land is involved... :( :(

Re-wilding of America, there's more.

It is as you said. ------------------ But there is more in the works. Under the U. N. plans for our country they would like to "Re-Wild" the country side. Massive areas are to be turned over to the animals, population control will be put into place and centralized in cities of their choosing. Rural towns are to be bulldozed along with roads to them.

Why I ask my self would some elected Americans allow these things to go on and not expose them to the people. Don't we elect them to represent our desires for how our government should be. I don't know anyone who would vote to give up their land to the U. N. let alone our parks, and heritage sites.

Note: There are certain areas that you can not fly over in our National Forests. I have a good pilot friend (private pilot), and he told me that when he filed his flight plan, they came back and told him he wasn't able to fly where he wanted to. Their excuse was that the animals would be frightened in the area where he wanted to go.

Who are they kidding? Are there compounds and other type of New World Order activities going on that they don't want people to see? Check it out, here is Colorado there are quite a few locations that you can't fly over, cause "you might scare the bunnies".

 What I am about to say will pi$$ some people off but here it goes. Start buying all the guns, ammo, reloading equipment, books on chemistry (making gun powder), survival, equip for your truck, food, clothes, medical supplies, etc. Go deep into the woods and hid it all. Memorize where it is buried and never tell anyone about it. Then you wait until the bottom falls out. Learn to be self sufficent. Learn EMT skills and military tactics. Carefully find others that think the same way you do and band together. Do this carefully and quitely as you will not want to have the eyes of the gov't on you. Slowly buy up gold and silver. Paper money will not be worth anything.

Good luck and prepare for the blue hats to show up.

I agree totally, except with the gold and silver issue. If it all hits the fan, I think bartering of goods and services will work and the best thing to have will be food stock piles. I'd rather have food than starve with shinny metals in a safe.

I've done all that you mentioned. I enjoy each day that I have and don't complain near as much as I used to.

Don't know if you've heard that up in Canada gun control laws have almost totally disarmed their population. In 2005 the latest of the U. N. style gun grab laws will prohibit owning anything but a single shot rifle and a side by side or over/under shotgun. Absolutly, no pump guns, clip types, or hand guns.

Fines and criminal punishment for violators will insue.

It is already illlegal to own or have in your possession firearms of any kind in Australia. $10,000 fines and imprisionment are the punishments.

One reason we still enjoy our freedoms is that those behind the scenes that run our government, fear our guns. If we lose them, our country is lost.
