being talked out of twins idea need more ideas

what upgrades for a 96' 3500 4x4? calipers, rotors, & pads? mine need replacing. bought it one year ago owner said brakes were brand new. this past 4th of july no more brakes!any ideas would be helpful. can contact me also @ -- email address removed -- thanks

For those who haven't seen the thread about my blown wheel bearing, I now have new brakes on the front as well. I wasn't about to tear the whole thing apart and put the old brakes back in. Put new rotor on dirver's side as well. Passenger's side didn't need any work but I'm not that cheap to save the pads on one corner.

8 days after I started this thread the bearing went KABLUEY!. Figures.

I don't think the brakes will stop me any faster now, but the braking in 10X smoother.
 
Just rotated and balanced the tires on the '03 last week @190. 3k. Have approximately 35-40% of my original pad all the way around. Not bad considering some of the crap I tow. :eek:
