Do I have a block heater?

I don't have a cord but after looking at the owners manual it reads as though all trucks have a heater installed & you just need to get the cord. Is this correct or am I reading it wrong?

All of'em have one. Behind the oil filter on the block. Not much need for it now.

That's correct. Heater installed. Now all you need is the power cord.

You can go in to your local Cummins Distributor and ask the parts guys for a Fleetguard heater cord $10 and install it yourself in the parking lot.

Ive never seen one without a power cord. They usually come out on the passenger side near the headlight by the grill. Bill

They stopped putting them on the engines in 2003. They were an option.
