DRQP 11. 50 Rear Axle

Excellent thank you!! Now another question: What type of fluid and weight do i run in the front and rear diffs? I am going to change them. Is it better to use a sucker in the fill hole to get all the fluid out (its 30 degrees out here) or best to unbolt the pans and drain that way? If I unbolt the pans what type of gasket sealer do i use for the re-install?
thanks again guys!

I alwasy pull the covers so I can look for and clean the sludge out of the bottom if there is any. Can find large metal pieces and avert disaster also.

The cover gaskets are the reusable kind. Just peen the holes of the cover before reinstalling and it should be good.

The factory fill is 75/90 synthetic for both front and rear no lmtd slip additive is needed. Like Cerb said the gaskets are reusable. It is faster and better to pull the covers

Your very welcome Rooster.
I'll also add that if you have optional gearing (like 4. 10's), it will show up as an option on that same glove box label. If you have the standard gearing it won't say anything at all about ratios.

I changed the fluid in the rear diff, not a bad job, a little messy but all in all a pretty easy job. The old fluid didn't look that bad either. I just put new Synthetic in there just to make sure. I also drained the transfer case. Very easy job. The only hard part was trying to fill the Transfer case with a little hand pump. . took a while but got er done! now tomorrow's project. . the front diff! thanks again guys!
