Hi guys,
Used to be (at least I thought) that when you had both rear wheels off the ground and you turned one of them, with a limited slip differential that the other wheel would turn in the opposite direction.
On my truck, no matter what I do, both wheels will turn in the same direction when off the ground. I thought this meant that the rear end was NOT a LSD.
If I set her back on the ground and then brake torque her so she spins the tires, Both tires will lay rubber.
The identity plate under the hood says it has LSD.
What is bothering me is that sometimes when turning in parking lots and going slow, I get a slight shudder in the rear end, just as if one wheel is slipping on the pavement because one wheel is turning more than the other.
Could possibly be that the rear end is locked somehow?
I am not a pro at rear ends, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
The Rackman
