2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission do i have the infinity system?

do i have the infinity system? i'd imagine the word "infinity would be posted all over my dash if i did; well i don't. i do have the little tweeters on my a pillars and a couple folks told me that meant i had the infinity system.



reason i ask is i'm looking into after market steroes and i guess that's an issue for new installs.



anyone know how to tell for sure?

infinity speakers have an amp on the backside of speaker. Just check the door speakers. My infinity system actually has infinity under the speaker on the upper door panel on both sides.

pop the door panel and look at the back of the speaker it will say infinity. and i do believe your correct on the pillar speakers making it infinity

you could also have the dlr pull a report by your vin# it should say on there

Take it to any Dodge Dealer, they will tell you.

I have the same set up (as foolkiller) but no weres does it say INFINITY??

Not on the radio face or on the speakers,,,"BUT" there are these plastic things on the magnets !!!,,,but the WEIRD THING is I've been all over E-BAY and all the speakers that says INFINITY don't look like mine??

I bought a set an the connetions was total differant,,an the "AMP" Was too??

Correct, any system with the tweeters in the A-pillers are infinity systems.

If you take your VIN to the dealer he will print out a STAR sheet that details everything on your truck as built, right down to the stickers on the tailgate.

OH !! One more thing,,

I bought a set of INFINITY front speakers for my truck,,,

But they came with a 4 PIN connector an mine are 6 Pin?

an the AMP is differant too. .

Any ideas?????
