I was just wondering if I would need to get a mod cp3 pump if I went with Don M's 40 horse sticks,also about what kind of #'s do you think a tst/mp8,SPS 62,Don M's 40's,would turn on the dyno? :-{}

03 auto,4x4,dtt transmission,tst,mp8,airdog,mac filter,wants---turbo,injectors and some more :-laf

Dyno only, you might be ok without the CP3. On the street you'd benefit greatly from a CP3.

With your combination, you're probably in the mid 500's :)

it seems youre #'s should be a little more then 521 and 948,also if I went with Don's 100's I would probably need the Mod cp3,correct

I would think that if you turned up the TST/MP8 you would be running low RP, with the injectors on top I would think you would be sucking down to low or right on the ragged edge. Either way a modded CP3 would do you nothin but good.

Yeah, it's kind of embarassing to post those #'s, but I've only been on the dyno 1 time. Most guys at the dyno were saying that there #'s were about 10% low because the dyno operator wouldn't put any load on the rollers. There was also a . 97 correction factor-- uncorrected I would have been right at 540. One example of a low # was the owner of dieselplace.com has dyno'd at over 700 hp, but could only muster up 664 or something. Honestly I didn't even expect to be able to get my truck on the dyno that day so I wasn't really prepared. Next time I'll clean my air filter, change the fuel filter, change the oil, put the stock tires on, etc... A brand new Ford 6. 0 dynoed at 1xx hp. Not sure if the dyno operator said 117 or 170. That's how low the #'s were... .....

Also keep in mind that I'm running a fass 95 with 10psi in the lines, and no pressure box.

(I ordered an SPIIe, and a glacier comp 392) Hope to have a better number sometime soon. Oo.

by the way, I'm sure you've already read the description of the 40 hp injectors on the F1 website. Here it is anyway... ... .

"40 HP Increase over stock injectors. The F1 is designed to be used with the stock CP3. They will work great with rail pressure boxes and the TST duration box stacked. Typical Twin Turbo trucks can exceed 590 HP. Some have made 640. Large Single turbochargers have made over 600 as well. "

I would hope it would put down more than mid 500's seeing how my truck put down whats in my sig with 80hp sticks, a 40hp pressure box and the smarty. with the stock clutch,turbo,cp3. the tst/mp8 has been a big "dyno queen" stack with that being said let us know what your truck does.

Robert

p. s. throw that BDDL into the mix and you should see close to 625.

Kdbvulcan,

I would say on an honest dyno your truck is probably a good 500hp truck maybe a bit more if tuned right.

Robert,

I am surprised more havent jumped on your setup since you put down the 55x with basically a smarty and tst stacked with a stock turbo. Pretty impressive numbers but I have also seen that same thing done on a local dyno with the same mods and basically the same numbers... . I do believe!

justin, im not running a TST box, just a smarty and a VA pressure box.

i have the dyno sheet so seeing is believing

Don't expect over about 550-560. Based on what I've seen over the past couple of years going to these dyno events, mid 500's is about max on the stock CP3, no matter what else you throw into the mix. The stock CP3 just can't keep up.
