Do I need Lower Links with a 2" Leveling kit?

I am getting a set of 2" Rancho spacers and am wondering if i need the lower links with them. Thanks in advance.

I have the 2" Daystar spacers and I don't have the lower links. No problem so far.

You'll be fine with 2" lift if you go any more you need new longer control arms to center the axel in the wheel well!! Have Fun!!!

It depends on the size of tire you're running and wheel offset, and if you want to use the DC mudflaps.



From what I've gathered 33's with the 2" are OK w/o the flaps. 35's are OK w/o flaps and some beating on the wheel well. (Know a V10 dude who just did the Rancho 2" kit with double shocks, he beat the hell out of the lower inside rear wheel well. Not noticable until you really looked, but count me out on that one!)



I'm thinking about doing this mod as well, and I think I'm going to do longer lowers. Probably from DT as their only a couple of hours from where I live.

From what I know about 4 links (alittle) just changeing the lowers aren't going to do any clearance improvements. The reason for longer lower links on 3" and up kits is to get your caster back. To move the axle foreward you will have to change both upper and lower links. Just my opinion.





I have done alittle research on longer links and found none, there has been a few threads on this in the last week or so, if someone knows who makes a set of all four for a 2-3" lift please let me know.

Skyjacker sells the complete set up. See sig. I have 35" tires on

9 1/2" wide rims, no fender mods and no rubbing. Do a complete kit and you will be happy.
