Do I need the waste gate hooked up!

I have a banks turbo on my 93, i think the
threaded item is close to the end, i guess this is at a position so it will only open
late, do i need this vacuum line looked up

my stock turbo did not have waste gate.
is this only for extra insurance?
under normal driving does my gate open up?
i get about 28 lbs boost.

I have my wastegate disenabled. It will only let me get 20psi.

Check my signature - I've got a Banks on my 93 and after I adjusted the waste gate I get 27lbs of boost (same as you). I can adjust for more but I am very happy with my current performance. I would adjust the boost to get better performance. You've got the larger injectors have you "tweaked" the pump to get all that you can get?

yes, if same boost ill leave things alone
i did move the rpm cap and stops
i can go to 3,000 rpm

hope to see some 1st gen in vegas in may
mine will be the one with 5 antenna's
