I just hooked up an EZ. Yes, it rocks. I've burned through 2 tanks of fuel and my MPG has gone down, down, down. Yea I know it might have something to do with my foot but, on the second tank I was a good boy and still dropped 4 MPG.

Can the reflash of the ECM help my situation or bigger inj. , or exaust.

you are your own warranty station...

if you take your rig in with the box installed or in view you will have your warranty voided.

I for one never take my rig to the dealer... . if you go anywhere go to Cummins and pay for their services. .

Yes, I know not to go to the dealer now. They never helped me when I needed help anyways.

So, can Cummins help with the MPG issue, am I taking the right approach to this?

warranty!!!!!

i received mail from this place this week and they are selling what looks to be plug and play boxes and on their site it says can not and will not void factory warranty. it says dealers across the states are selling these now. www.dieselconcepts.com i don't know. check it out. just my 2 cents worth. :-{}

JSmith. . I have a slightly used bridge for you also

Drifter. . Cummins will put your rig on the test meters and see if all is in parameters. . but DC has to do the reflash as ECM / PCM are one from each and the DC one is the motor "boss". . so your back at sq. 1

most that I have read that went for a low mileage issue came out low power after the flash, so I realy can't advise you on it... except to caution about the hooked up EZ... they do come off just as fast as they go on :)

on edit. . repair my dumb asssssed error. . can't believe I spelled it that way... have snickered many time at someone else for the same thing ...

I have no reason to go to any stealer unless a gun is to my head.

The Juneau and Whitehorse stealer both lied to me sooooo bad about my brake problems in '01 that I paid out of my own pocket to have them fixed at Horsman Mechanical in Whitehorse, YT.

Another $400 went to the shrinks to convince me not to strangle DC and thier laim attitude.

Thanks for the input folks.

Hard to believe......

Most people see a slight gain in MPG with an EZ. The timing feature really helps. Unless you've really got your foot burried in it :D :D

There is no flash I know of that will increase mileage. I've had my truck flashed twice for two different things and regretted it both times. Stay away from stealers unless it cannot be avoided.

Unhook the EZ and see what happens to the mileage. Do you have gauges? Boost is usually a good indication of how much fuel your burning.
