I am looking at my options for gages and heard that the pillar mounted gages block some of your view while sitting in the drivers seat. is this true and does anyone have any pics of your gages in the pillar from the drivers seat? Has anyone tried the molded color matched 3 gage pod that Geno's sells? Thanks.

There will be a little view obstruction with any gauges on the pillar. Too much for some people, not bad for others. I had greater dislike for how close the top gauge was to your face. It took three diffrent focal planes to see all your gauges and then the dash cluster.

This is a pic of the SRT-10 single gauge pillar. You can imagine what two more gauges might look like. It was taken from the driver's view point but may be zoomed a little too much to get good perspective.

P. S. The back box in the pic is a PMCR remote with digital pyro and boost, analog gauge is fuel pressure.

I also have mechanical agalog boost, pyro, and trans temp in the dash cubby and yes, the digital boost and pyro read very similar. They don't update quite as fast and I'm old fashined (I just like analog gauges) but I can't knock the accuracy.

I have some pics in my reader's rig. I find that it only blocks it a little if I'm leaning to the left. I like being able to see the gauges out of the corner of my eye instead of having to look down or over at them. I'm very pleased with my 3 pod a-piller

Since i have contacted many people that make pods and none say they are going to make a 4 mount box. I decided i am making my own. I am doing some R&D right now and ill get back to you all ASAP. .

See my readers rigs pictures for the 3gauge set. I don't find it much more obtrusive than the stock pillar with the handle was. Maybe a 1/4 in. I got used to it in about an hours time. I didn't paint mine and it's a perfect match. I installed it over the stock pillar cover, it hides the back of the gauges and wiring.

I have the two gauge color molded gauge from Gino's and am very pleased with it. I do not notice any significant loss of vision.
