Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) do you have to have a box to help the injectors make HP???

2 guys have dynoed with mach 6's and no box on and they did 500HP

Guys, look back at the original post. He had a box on his truck and it wasn't getting power. Because that box was hooked up to his map sensor his ECM most likely wasn't getting a map signal at all - or a flat one.
