Every time you drive your Cummins powered RAM do you realize you are advertising for DC? You are doing this for free. This just happened tonight as I drove home from the gym...
This is not the first time this has happened:
Pull up to a light in the fast lane both windows down. Guy next to me in a GM is gawking at the RAM. I take off slowly and in third gear so a not to go WOT and break his eardrums. The next light he asks if I want to sell the truck and give me a thumbs up. I take off then a little more aggressive. Next light he asks what year it is and his wife asks how did I make it so loud?
Either there are a LOT of rednecks in Michigan or the sound of the Cummins has hypnotic powers! I could have really flipped the guy out if I had used the exhaust brake.
Third Gen owners are missing out on the traditional and historic sound of inline power. Ford and Chevy just have a truck that makes weird knocking noise...
