Just to let you all know, the new Dodge's built after June of 2000, will have discs on the rear on the 2500 and 3500 trucks. I seen a new brochure that told about them. The trucks will be 2001 units, built after June.

I test drove a 2000 Chevy 2500 with 4 wheel disc brakes. The brakes were very good, but the brake pedal feel was way too sensitive imo.
The Chevy brakes would have you swapping ends real quick in a panic stop in a slippery corner even with antilock imo. Every driven down a steep icy or muddy hill with brakes that keep locking up? Scary... Granted, the right setup would be great and SS brakes have a real good reputation.

Not interested, glad I got mine before they decided to go to discs, wish I had drums on the front too.

I have 6 vehicles, don't drive them much. ALL except the new Ram have problems with the front discs, expect to have problems with it someday too. Hate discs!

I think I will wait for Dodge to deliver rear disks then retrofit to my truck.
Hmmm, will the rear brake line pressure be correct for disks??
Adjusting drums every 3k gets old on our two trucks. Plus the drums get grabby in our damp climate. .
