Do You Wave At Other Rams?

My wife drives a VW Beetle and she claims the Beetle drivers are a friendlier bunch than we are because they wave at each other. I say NO WAY! I always give a nod or a wave at another CTD but usually not a gasser. Besides, those dubbers don't have a great site like this! #ad

Only if they're diesels, but most of the time, like The Patriot stated above, I get a funny look from the other guys, I guess they're not expecting it. See, now if we had some kind of TDR logos on our trucks, I'm sure we'd all be waving at each other. I have never seen a CTD on the road with any kind of TDR hitch plug, decal, or badge; only at rallies/shows/dyno days/etc. No wonder so many CTD owners have never heard of the TDR. We need to get the word out there!

Yep, mostly the "duallies" since they are easy to spot and are 99. 9% diesel. Some of the "duallie" drivers wave before I do. Here in Texas, we're friendly folks--at least the native ones raised in the country are. #ad

Same thing happens in my parts,people I've never seen before,but it seems like the Ram owners go out of their way to wave more,especally in a farming area where most all are diesel and for some reason most are also Driftwood color. Matches the mud around here,can't tell how dirty they really are.

Back 5 years ago, a lot of people waved at ANY new style Dodge.
I usaully wave at Red Cummins. The Duallys are mostly old guys who are watching the road too close to chance a wave. LOL

Catron County New Mexico, everybody waves at each other, but there is only like 163 people in the whole county.
I stopped waving at PSDs, they get cranky.

I would like to put a TDR plate on the front of my truck if they were available.

I wave at all the ones that are Cummins. I usually pull my wave if I see a V10 or V8 badge on it.

I also like to wave and give a big grin to PSD owners. They all look mad. Do you think they can read my sarcasm?

I usually wave and get a wave back from anyone driving a CTD (I don't wave at the gassers).
Are there TDR stickers or license plate frames available? It would be nice to be able to recognize a fellow member.

Yeah I wave, mostly at all 3500's cause most are outfitted with the Cummins. Just a habit after puttin on scooters for over 25 years. you can always tell a Harley comming by the bounce in the headlight!! #ad

Terry H, yes there are TDR stickers and name plates available. I have a TDR sticker on my truck, along with the K&N, NRA and other stickers #ad


Send $1 per sticker you want, along with a note asking for what you want (sticker or nameplate) and a SASE to the TDR editor, address and the ad for these stickers is listed somewhere in the last couple print TDR issues.
