Went in for a yearly Physical included a Chest Xray, Blood drawing & Golden Flow and the Finger :eek: tests

Got a message from the doctor that wanted to know what pharmacy we use for several prescriptions. When I called to find out what new found illness he discovered that I wasn't aware of?

He said that they are an "AGE PREVENTIVE" medications????????? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?????

He pulled up my results as, I looked at mine sent to me

TELL ME WHAT LOOKS SO BAD THAT I NEED MEDS TO CONTROL? HUGE PAUSE I asked if he was still there or did we get cut off? He said that my stats are remarkable for a 66 year old male. I corrected him by saying NO THEY ARE REMARKABLE FOR A 36 YEAR OLD MALE!!! He said that I have taken care of Gods Gift very well But? I stopped him by saying without the help of Modern Medicines magic pills and I wanted to be transferred to Patient enrollment so I can't get a new HOSPITAL he started back pedaling so I hung up and am Going to IU medical.

Must have a new car & or sugar to pay for???
 
Yeh, dont touch them if your numbers are good. Especially the diabetes stuff and bp stuff. Nature path doc on the radio also says to stay away from chol meds.
 
Laugh all you want!! we have a family member who is an Herbalist from the Reservation his Natural concoctions work faster better than any OTC junk. If not for him I thinking kicking my habit of many years of Opioid abuse would have been far worse.
 
Nowhere near it fasting Blood sugar is 70 to 80 I was given a Glucose meter from the VA and a never ending supply of test strips and lancets test it just about everyday along with BP test equipment from the same source
 
The VA was giving testing equipment away to vets, BP monitors and Blood sugar Theres no saying keep it, they will hound you unmercifully until you take whatever it is they are trying to give away. The best part of their hounding is when I checked in at VA in Indiana the Doctor seen that I was in Vietnam INSTANT AGENT ORANGE DISABILITY added to the check I receive now NO QUESTIONS ASKED

Its not the VA its our medical in town MONEY is what I'm thinking, We went to another appointment today with IU. the Doctor there said its not unlikely the reason but obviously your better at understanding test results than most that would automatically do what the Doctor says

The reason for testing was an annual physical, Blood, Golden Flow and required Chest Xray after working in the Petrochemical Industry for 27 years The company paid for life medical insurance thought it would be a good idea. Blood tests are pretty revealing when things are going south.

They aren't having me test it at all, I test it just BECAUSE!! the Doctors that gave me the testing equipment and the one wanting me to take un-neded drugs aren't the same. I take My BP several times a day sometimes I just like to know how different activities affect both Stats. I keep a pretty close eye on both Sugar & BP, NOTHING we eat at home (which is just about everything we consume) is what Doctors and dietitians would consider healthy eating. What they don't take into account I have never been one to sit on my xxx for very long (I get bored FAST) Retirement is not easy for me, Im running out of things to do. Right now I'm in the process of cutting, splitting & stacking firewood that will be needed in about 5 years if my yearly rate of burning 5.5 cords holds steady THAT MY FREIND IS A WHOLE LOT OF FIREWOOD not to mention the wood that family uses. Working my mules isn't easy I haven't seen many fat forest workers THATS why were can eat what we do, Doctors just don't seem to grasp that concept.
 
Rat the hospital knows with my request for records to be sent to IU hospital that the Dr is a jerk. This is the weirdest medical system we've ever seen. In commiefornia we had Kaiser Hospital we went to Fontana branch but if we were on vacation and needed medical attention any hospital we would go Kaiser paid the bill. MT was very similar. Here there are a ton of hospitals IU being the biggest in the state, each hospital seems to have its own specialty IU is where the sports figures have their orthopedic problems taken care of St Vincent is a renowned Cardiac facility, on & on & on we can go to any hospital for their specialty and have one as our primary care. I was very pleased with my Orto doctor replacing my hips at the Primary hospital but the GP doctor really twisted my NAD's

Thats as far as I'm going to pursue this issue if other people are unable to understand or find some to help them understand test results then their own there own, I know this sounds cruel but "I AM FIRM BELIEVER IN DARWIN'S THEORY" especially with access to the internet you can get ANY info needed I go to web Md and others to make comparisons and TRUST ME IM NOT A ROCKET SCIENTIST FOR NASA

Plus I don't need all the legal BS

I have no doubt that the drugs are needed for some people, it goes along with the other post. I think Indiana is the 12th fattest state in the US. Some folks have medical issues that can't be helped but others seem to think OH WELL!! maybe I'm looking at it from a different angle than they are, IM NOT KIDDING, I WAKE UP EVERYDAY AND THINK I MADE IT FOR ANOTHER ONE!!! WHOOO-PAAAA, but don't prescribe it for me when I don't need it and do as much as I can so I don't.
