The best part of their hounding is when I checked in at VA in Indiana the Doctor seen that I was in Vietnam INSTANT AGENT ORANGE DISABILITY added to the check I receive now NO QUESTIONS ASKED
So are they saying you have diabetes caused by agent orange ? My neighbor has diabetes and a stage 4 cancer that he blames on agent orange. The VA pays for his treatment, but I dont think he gets any kind of disability payment for it.

waaal, tests and testing...one of my favorite topics! Some tests are very informative (eg big jump in WBC along with fever, yes most likely infection present). Other tests, like PSA are so innaccurate they are very close to a coin flip. So you get a high PSA reading (50\50 it could be cancer) and now you get a biopsy Needle up thru yer rectum into prostate in 6-12 spots...huh, OK Mr Bignasty you don't have cancer. At least not in the 10 samples we got. At least not according to THIS pathologist...BTW you might be ******* blood and Dripping for the next couple months, forgot to tell you about that. Might not be any lead in yer pencil either. Oh and a few guys get prostate infections but we will give you antibiotics to prevent that. But antibiotics don't PREVENT infection they Treat infection, more or less successfully. You see where I am going with this. Stay away from most doctors unless you got a good reason to go. And all those meds yer taking? Mostly made in China and India. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Next time the doc gives you an Rx look up NNT (number needed to treat) and NNH (number needed to harm). You might be real surprised, esp with statin drugs.

For Christ sake HERE WE GO AGAIN!!

No I dont have diabetes. I was at the VA CHECKING IN FOR AN APPOINTMENT. They had a couple of people pushing carts to a waiting room area. I was sitting there minding my own business when they came by and GAVE ME AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE HOSPITAL THAT DAY a Blood Sugar & Blood Pressure tester FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN WE WERE ALL VETERANS & THEY HAD A SUPPLY OF THESE TO give away. DONT ASK ME WHY MAYBE IT WAS A LUCKY DAY FOR ALL OF US. They really aren't that expensive.

At my appointment with a doctor for a ROUTINE EXAM for my LEG GETTING BLOWN OFF & PROSTHETIC CHECK he noticed that I had been to Vietnam in my records, Maybe it was my Vietnam Veteran Hat that let him know, I don't usually wear it any other place because I don't like all the "INSINCERE THANK YOU FOR YOU SERVICE" B S That people say, to make THEMSELVES feel good about how Vietnam Vets were XXXX ON when we came home.

Did you know that there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THAT THEY CAN DEFINITIVELY TELL THAT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE WAS EXPOSED TO AGENT ORANGE. I happened to be assigned to a base that Agent Orange was used and loaded into aircraft to be used as a defoliant. It didn't take a Rocket Scientist to understand when I witnessed people in Hazmat suits working around the aircraft that I WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT!!

While sitting waiting I was talking with another Vet and said I don't believe that I had any problem associated with Agent Orange exposure, He pointed to my prosthetic leg and said YOU'VE PAID YOUR DUES SHUT UP AND TAKE WHATEVER THEY GIVE YOU

Sorry, you sound like you've been treated badly by the VA, I take 800 Mg Motrin when I have a need is the only med I take. Its comes to the House through Scripts Express https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Express_Scripts I don't think it comes from offshore anymore than any other med I COULD BE WRONG mine has Upjohn stamped on it. The VA isn't my primary health care I go there to have my prosthetic fixed (if I can't do it) and the required annual checkup

No, I meant what disease do you have that can be attributed to agent orange. I spent 13 months in nam and was most probably exposed to agent orange. But I dont have any disease that can be attributed to it. As I said, my neighbor has diabetes and cancer.

Im in the same boat as you Fest I have no related problems that can point to Agent Orange exposure, our group of guys that went out to a Forward Air Control base were actually assigned to the 474th Tactical Fighter Wing at Takhli Royal Thai AFB thats were they used Agent Orange around the base and loaded it onto aircraft. The only time in 19 months of service I was at that base was for a monthly R&R and medical services for a weekend, then back out along the Cambodian border working on aircraft. My doctor and other medical professionals have told me that the problems that others contract COULD OR COULD NOT be caused by contact with Agent Orange THEY JUST DONT KNOW so to cover all bases they have a list of where people COULD HAVE COME IN CONTACT with AO. Just to let you in on something Im about as young as a guy can be and still have severed in Vietnam (66Years old) WE ARE DIMINISHING IN RANKS BROTHER THEY WONT BE PAYING FOR THE MISTAKES THEY INFLICTED UOPN US VERY MUCH LONGER

Sorry I meant to say Tractorrat
