Hey there, forgive the redundancy if you've already seen this post elsewhere, but I'm really trying to stoke the rumor mill. Check out the Dodge 4500 post in 3rd Gen eng and trans, we got pics of the new 4500/5500. Copy them and print some to take to your local dealer. Ask how soon you can order one of these! It's high time Dodge and the gang at DC got off there backsides and joined the real truck wars, well, at least jump up a step! I've been hounding folks in Detroit about this idea- no takers yet. Maybe I should find a contact over at Freightliner? Anyhow, enjoy the pics and get a couple dealers scurrying to the phones!

I was there last week. A M2 business class with a Cat 300HP 6 spd. Crew Cab/air ride/hyd brakes with a 16k GVW. There is a lot of creature comfort items in the price also. Total came to 40k.

With D/C owning Freightliner. I wouldn't look for a 4500/5500 series of truck. Why try to cut the throat of your heavy truck section of the company.

Cummins is not being put into the M2 class of trucks. :(

Since when did DODGE and the group running it care about who's throat they cut? I think it would be the smartest move ever made by DODGE. I would never be in the market for anything fleightliner had to offer, but I would and am in the market for something bigger then the 3500, something exactly like the F450-550, except not so commercial looking.

DITTO from me about needed in a 4500/5500 size truck.

Plus, FL doesn't make 4-wheel drive. The key would be the 4500/5500 should be 19,500 and 23,500 GVW respectively.

With a 12K/16K rear axle and 7. 5K front (enough for a 9' plow!)

ARE YOU LISTENING DC!!!!!!!!!!!
