Dodge 2010 5500 6.7L Throttle control or the red lighting bolt
Hello,
Looking for help totally lost,
We lost the engine in this vehicle and rebuilt an extra we had on hand, this vehicle will start and run wonderful, for about 15 minutes.
We were told at a dealer ship that it would cost 9500.00 to repair the DPF system, so I instead ordered the Delete kits to do away with factory exhaust from turbo back.
During this process we deleted the EGR and throttle flapper, with purchased parts to do so , followed all directions .. we ran tuner to reset ECM and still the same issue.
When the vehicle dies it acted as if the fuel pump was weak , so we ordered a new in tank pump , installed it , it will now run 25 minutes but still dies the same.
I have noticed sitting in the cab waiting for the truck to die when the LIGHTNING BOLT light comes on is when this happens , after letting truck set awhile you can start it back but never know how long it will run.
ANY input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Wes
