Dodge ARB 1-Magnum 0

Friend with ARB bumper on his CTD had an incident. The hitch and drop ball protected the rear of the truck. Pics are what happened to the front. I should mention this area is a designed choke point on I-5 in Seattle. No damage to the truck. Brackets did walk a little. Required loosening the bolts, reposition and tighten.

did the insurance company try to go after your friend since he caused more damage to the other vehicle by having an aftermarket bumper? Or were they just happy there was no damage to the truck?

There was no issue as far as that was concerned, it never came up. If my insurance co. did know they were probably happy to pay for only one vehicle and not two.

I have put an arb bumper on an Fstupid duty and I was impressed with the sturdy construction and the lack of overkill. The arbs are alot lighter than the road armors and seem to be just as strong.

This is true because ARB bumpers are engineered not just fabricated.

I think thats what I'm going with if I ever get a new bumper. I really like the looks of theirs.

I think he would have damaged that car just as bad as if would have had his stock bumper. He woulda just done a lot more damage to his truck.

Pretty cool how it stamped the Ram logo into the back of that car. I am guessing for free of charge?
