I would be VERY interested in a MAD style ECM for a CR motor. What kind of timeframe are you looking at to having something available Marco?

Difficult to say... weeks... a few months?

I've focused all my time on the VP stuff lately.

Sorry, don't want to tell you BS...

Marco

Marco, I need to know, DO you want the module that is bolted to the firewall or the module that is bolted to the engine on the 03/04 and is the 600 bolted only to the engine. I can get both PCM/ECM on the 03/04 The 600 is a little harder to fine right now I will keep trying.

Marco these auto part places don"t know the difference from a PCM and a ECM they keep senting me PCM"s ,I have refused two already I will keep looking. I cannot find a 325. yet.

One word answer.

Yes! :D

The ETC/ETH files can be swapped. That's not a problem. It's already been done...

That's till I can get my hands onto a CR ECM and do some more R&D with it... :D :D

Marco

Really? i did not know someone did this already, by what means can I do this?

I have an "SO", and would like to upgrade to the HO powerlevel :)

I"ve already done it. Try and fine a ECM HO, I put a HO ECM on my SO. and like Marco said the files can be swapped.

I assume asfter the swap that the truck knows and the VIN decoding is all messed up???

And that you become your own warranty station??

I seems that there would be alot of bugs to doing a cold swap, How can I find more info on how to do it? (swaping in a HO ECM or swapping the files only)

Thanks!

PS - TWest, any down side to the swap you did?

AS far as I can tell only the engine was affected, Also with engine mods on,I can"t tell the difference, between HO/SO , at stock level I can ,Tommey gun with your mods you won"t be able to tell them apart,I think the SO get"s a bigger advantage from the Mods. Stick with what you have until Marco can get you a new Program. I have been reprograming my tuner for for EGT"s . The SO programing is much better for lowering EGT"s. The HO Runs about 100* hotter. I had a 300 600 ECM modified that one had over 10 codes ,Engine ran good PCM hated it. EGT"s were Good Never over 1200

Good to hear, that could explain why i have almost NO EGT issues with the stock turbo and thats even with the TST on level 5 and 6... and stock I could not EVER touch 1000 pre-turbo... but HO people were hitting 1300's

hmmm, anyway, I guess my SO will just get injectors a little sooner

Yeah, that"s what I would do,The 300/600 was great it pulled much harder faster than the HO/SO ,If only someone could load those files in are ECM"s. The 300/600 had a extra pin connector I was surprised it work at all. I had to jump a couple of wires. I thought I was defusing a Bomb. Sweating that is A.
