DODGE emblem for front

hello all, i am looking for a dodge emblem to go on the front of my 93, the original grill was replaced with an aftermarket and it does not say dodge on the front of the grill. i thought about ordering a new emblem that goes on the back tailgate of the new ones, and just putting it on the front of the hood, if any ideas let me know. thanks

Check Geno's Garage, they have some cool emblems, Dodge, Power Wagon, Cummins, etc. On the edge of the hood will look ok, the trucks used to have an emblem there.

I noticed that on your truck. I prefer the oem original look. That said, if it were me and I had a show N shine quality truck like yours, I'd look for a new oem grill, keep the aftermarket for spare or sell to recoup some $$ from the new grill. Anyone know if they are available? Philip outta know, I think he just replaced his from a Bambi attack.

I noticed there was something different about that grill. It looked new... ... ... ... . but I didn't notice the missing D-O-D-G-E



Why not buy the letters from the dealer and put 'em on?

The letters are actually placed inside of an indentation of a letter. They appear to be pressed in or heated and pressed in.

I liked the goat head! But I feel that it screws up the aerodynamics of my high performance machine :-laf I had a J. C. Witless lit up one on my '83 Ramcharger, it was I know, I ain't quite right

The goat head I hear is good for 15rwhp. Lets get this straight, I love the goat head. I am not against the goat head. I have one on my 89 and 85. I have a spare in the toolbox. BUT I don't think they look good on 91-93 trucks.

As of a couple of months ago Dodge did a production run on grilles. They did a run of 100. At the time of the production run they had orders for 40. I was #40 on the list. If there are any left in stock now I don't know.

He means it adds 15 rwhp, but I think the increased aerodynamic drag would negate such a small benefit. This of course is just one mans opinion :-laf

Nooooooo, don't buy that junk. Its not spring loaded, which maybe ok for some, but if you compared the two, the oem is much better quality, BTDT. Bought the JcW crap to replace one on my old 85 D100 for $20ish, didn't care for it, and you had to drill two new holes for it to mount up, it didn't match the factory holes. Not a problem if you never had a goat to begin with, but if replacing a stolen one, no good. I prefer oem. If you want one bad enough, get the real thing. I'd pay the $60 for oem new from Dodge before $20 to JCW. Also can be found on ebay, and occasionally in a junkyard.

Now guys, I had to sit thru a sexual harassment class thing at work today and I don't feel comfortable with "loving the goat head", please refrain from this innuendo. :-laf

I was just joking about calling JCShtny, but I did like the light up eyeballs.

When I was mowing the lawn tonite, I went by my truck and the DODGE on the grill sticks out, not recessed. Need to investigate this further!

I think I might be able to lay my hands on an orginal OEM head if someone wants one.

The last one I bought was about $45. 00 Canadian... I like the deep red eye's on mine though... .

That's funny... I was mowing the grass too and was looking at my grill. I couldn't tell from my vantage point if the letters are flush or not.



I like "MY" ide'r of fastening the OEM letters to the aftermarked grill. You guys are brutal.
