Dodge Extended Warranty

Has any of you purchased an extended warranty?



I'm not certain that it is worth it. The one time I tried to use the towing feature they refused to help because I was 15 feet from the road. (Their limit was 10 feet. ) They refused to use a paved driveway.



They did replace a defective turn signal switch and fix a minor leak in the transmission on warranty.



Your opinion will be welcome.

I think that the third party extended warranties are a better deal. They cover more for less money, and the service can be preformed at any shop, including non Dodge dealers. That's especially nice if you have bombed your truck, as the independent service places have nothing to gain by voiding your warranty. I have had good luck with Warranty Gold. There is also a third party associated with http://www.edmunds.com. Good luck

I bought the DC extended warranty and I have gotten more than my money in return. Add to that I have an automatic transmission that will not last 100K miles and it was a good investment for me.
