Well finally got my mirrors that I ordered the same time that I ordered my truck. I ordered them sight-unseen, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I took them out of the box. At first I didn't like them, but now that I have both of them installed and the marker lights and trun signals hooked up I really like them. As far as I can tell I think that they are made by CIPA and marketed by DODGE. I really like them for towing, they extend further than the factory ones do, so you can see the side of your trailer better. They also have a cool Ram emblem in the mirror, and at night they look really cool with the LED marker lights and signals. They did take a little time to install, remove door panels, pull back carpet, take fuse panel loose under hood, run the wire for the lights, but the cool thing was they give you wires with ends on them that fit into the factory plug. If I get some pictures of them I will get them posted for you guys that wanted to see them.

Has anyone figured out if these mirrors will retro-fit onto a 2002 the same way the factory 3rd gen power towing mirrors will? Basically, are the bases and mechanisms the same, or are they CIPA components that are not interchangeable?

I posted some pictures on a different forum, Mopar mirror!

EDIT, I am not sure what list price was, I beleive that they were pushing 500 dollars, but when I ordered my truck I worked in a deal that I wanted some parts at cost, so if I remember right they were just over $300.

Thanks, Snoxracer
