If you're talking about the molded splash guards, then I have a full set. I like them. I think they didn't come with enough hardware. I had to get 2 extra tabs for the top holes since the kit mysteriously came without. I think I had to drill two holes (one on each side?!?!!?)that weren't there, but seriously, it's been too long, so I don't remember. I think it was on the instructions. But I'm very happy with them. Hope it helps.

I've got them on all four wheels, had them on the '98 also. Easy to install, I believe you have to drill 1 hole per fender.

I assume these are the ones you are refering to. Simple installation. As mentioned above, 1 hold per wheel, but I think it uses a self-drilling sheet metal screw.

Anyone using the moulded ones from the dealer. Do you need to drill the fenders to install them?
I have the molded flaps also, very pleased with them. Don,t forget to check into the rear wheel liners also. They are not stock equipment on the new rams. coobie ;)

I have them on mine and I did not drill in the fender. But I'm obsessive compulsive :p. I used a plastic push in type retainer in the top hole and left the middle hole unused with a screw in the bottom hole (where there was already a hole in the fender) and then the plastic retainer in the hole for the liner on the front ones. I think I did have to drill a hole in the fender liner for the 4th hole but it won't rust. ;)

molded mudflaps

I have a set I took off my '04. They're for sale if someone wants them. I went with an aftermarket set that provided more protection.

I had them on a 99 and they will rub your paint OFF :(

Get the anti spray.

If you seach the site you should find the rubbing paint off problem somewhere.

After I found that info I looked close at mine and found that in fact they had started rubbing my paint off.

I removed them, had my damaged spots repainted and got the anti spray ones.

I have them, but I bought them with the intent of temporary use until I get my lift and go with flares. I didn't drill anything and was able to make them work front and rear without any problems.

I went with the Husky molded mud flaps, same as Dodge except comes with protective 3M clear tape. Helps keep flaps from rubbing off paint. You have to drill one hole per fender same as Dodge Molded flaps.

Added my own badge to mine.

I have the dodge ones and they rubbed the paint badly in 3000 miles. Front ones gone due to board install and rears soon to be gone for larger flat rubber flaps.

To prevent paint rubbing through, you can just "clear bra" the little area that the mudflap will cover. That's what I did on the front ones. The rears seemed secure enough that I didn't think they'd move enough. Maybe I should check those too.

What about duallys?

Do the molded ones work for duallys? I was worried about snow packing in those wide rear flaps and then weighing a ton... . and pulling the screws out of the body...

Anyone have feedback on the molded dually flaps?

Dodge Mud Flaps?

I bought full size Semi flaps at local Cummins shop. Cut down with jigsaw. As much as I like Dodge, I like Cummins more. Cost for these about $65 for 2 sets of 2 - shipping tax and all.
