Dodge OEM Tow Hooks

Looking at a set of Tow Hooks on eBay & was wondering if any fascia modifications are required to installing them. I can ohnestly say that I don't ever remember seeing a Ram with Tow Hooks although I know a few are out there... .

The OEM tow hooks extend forward through the air dam. If your Ram is equipped with the air dam, you will need to cut openings for the hooks. If I remember correctly, the inner surface of the air dam has the opening locations marked. I used a router & home made jig to cut the relatively soft air dam.

Do you have any pics of your Tow Hooks installed?

No. I installed the tow hooks in November, 1999 and removed them about a year later when I installed a front receiver. The tow hooks & air dam are now on my son's Ram 400 miles away.
