Got a story for y'all
went out to the local desert for some sand duning and baja riding in my newly restored buggy... came across a Motorhome (40' discovery) run out in a mud flat that looked dry but had 1" dry crust. motorhome sunk. took 2 wreckers to haul it out. . His buddy was behind him in a F250 ford. had 4x4 but electronics messed up so only 2wd. . anyway, he wanted to turn around and promptly got stuck...
I have HARD tires... 12 ply F rated. . trid to pull back of trailer, front of truck, no go. . I kept diggin'... then we unhooked his trailer, used 3 jerk straps so I was on harder ground, Pulled 3 times in low range 3rd gear and yanked him out... this mud is like grease. . yucka and slimey!... then I thought I could hook to his trailer and get it out of harms way. . had to air down the hard tires to 15. . yes... 15 lbs. !! and then pulled the trailer to a hard spot... . Took a bit but was fun!!
Oh and it took 2 wreckers for the moho because the first wrecker got buried!!. . had to get another one out to yank him and the moho... !!. . what a day!
