Showdown at the Pump

I just saw the gratest commerical I have ever sat through while watching TV. Its the new (As far as I know, tonight is the first night I saw it), but it has two guys using their new Hemi powered Dodge Ram, to Haul trees, Pick-up Stuff, Go Fishing, and then go to the jobsite. The guy like, announces the day and what they are doing: "SUNDAY SUNDAY... . GOIN' FISHING IN THE HEMI POWERED DODGE RAM". Anyways, its the gratest commerical that I have ever seen, the girlfriend doesnt see the humor in it, but who would expect her to realize true humor. You guys have to watch it. I dont know if there is a way to find a link to it on the internet or whatever, I will try to find it and post back!!! :D

Haven't seen that one yet. My favorite one is with a guy in a dragster next to a guy with a Hemi powered truck at a stoplight. .

of course it isn't SUNDAY SUNDAY... GOING FISHING IN THE CUMMINS POWERED DODGE RAM... .....

me thinks that DC wants to see more hemis and less Cummins

I think DC realizes the Cummins sells itself, but they are trying to build up the sales of the Hemi-powered Rams.

Yeah but..

Then there's the Ford commercial that starts out looking like a Dodge Hemi commercial. It ends up being the New F-150 and they ask the Dodge guy if it has a Hemi. . he says "yes, it does" and then the light turns green and the Ford F-150 pulls away, leaving the Dodge Hemi behind.

It's a Ford commercial twisting the Dodge commercial around a bit.

:D

I've seen both the commercials mentioned. I wish Dodge would retaliate with a diesel commercial. It could go something like this:

Two trucks stopped at a light, the guy in the Cummins/Dodge looks over and says "say, that thing got the new 6. 0 Powerstroke?" The Ford driver looks back with a humiliated look and says "yep". The light changes and the vehicles pull away to reveal the Ford is on the back of a tilt bed Dodge/Cummins wrecker!

Now THAT would be truth in advertising! Besides, Ford has chosen to take the low road in their ad campaign. :D

i like the commercial where the ford is trying to catch the chevy and never does. they did not put the dodge in their b/c everyone know the hemi will smoke them all bad.

i have not seen the one where furd is ragging on dodge that hacks me off! furd 6l are garbage.

Cummins does sell itself... ... . enough said. :D Need an ad or two though just to rub it into the chevy/ford guys.

I've also seen the Hemi ad... . really funny when the guy throws the megaphone out the window.

I think it would be funny to have a guy in any ford pull up next to a twin chargered dodge with a trailer on the back, Ford Guy says "That thing got a hemi in it" and the dodge driver says Why the hell would I want one of those things. And as the light changes he pulls away in a huge cloud of smoke:D :--) :{

Ford Ad

Also note that the Ford is pulling a Shelby Mustang on a trailer. A much lighter load than the HEMI Charger would be. :D

They outa redo the one from 94 ish where they did the "it can pull its self at idle test. " they showed the ram rolling along at idle, said that it has to be able to haul a full load or something like that and it panned out and showed another ram sitting crossways in the bed, then they said it needs to be able to pull something at idle too, and panned out to show it chained to 2 more rams with trucks stacked in the bed. All of them moving off of the 1 truck at idle. Now update that with the ram with another ram in the bed pulling a psd with a psd in the bed and a duramax with a duramax in the bed.

or maybe one where it shows a guy trying to sell his wife on a diesel stick truck. they put her in a ford and she dropps the clutch and stalls it, they move on to a chevy and do the same thing, then they end up at the dodge dealer and she likes how she can goof up and it not stall.
