Dodge Ram Inventory Search

hi,

Does anyone know how to do an inventory search for a new 07 quad cab 3500 c/c without having to search each dealers stock individually ,as i dont care where i buy it from i just want one now

I feel your pain!!! I had the awesome task of trying to find a 3500 SER LONG BED and Six speed. I called a few dealers and I think THEY have the system to search inventories from all over the place. THey called me back and said there were only 3 trucks that fit my search criteria in the whole USA!!! And of course THEY wanted to get the truck to me and not me go to where the truck actually was. . All they said was 1 in Calif 2 in TX. . SO I had to go dealer by dealer. . started with the ones that were big truck dealers and found it. . hope this helps

I believe that if you go to the Dodge website, there is a "build your truck".

After you do that there is a spot to click on that will give local dealers that may have what you are looking for.

I kept calling Fleet Mgrs at different dealerships around the country until I found one that was willing to do a nationwide search for me on the Dodge internal computer system; they can search in 500-mile increments. He found 6 trucks that matched my criteria; all were located too far away for him to "trade. " I started dealing directly with those six dealerships, and eventually made my deal. Of course, you have to be able to "BS" on the phone in order to get a Fleet Mgr to buy into what you want. After I bought the truck, I made sure the Fleet Mgr that helped me was thanked -- I sent him an expensive bottle of Scotch, and got a nice note in reply.
