Dodge remote start

Hi everyone,



Does anyone have any information on the Dodge remote starting system?



Is it available? Any known issues?



I have a 2007 5. 9 auto.

My neighbor had the dodge remote start on his 06 hemi and he had the dealership take it off already. I guess they determined that the remote starter was the reason he had to replace the starter twice already. I have not heard of any other problems that this one case though.

I have one on my 05 - works nice - there is a non adjustable 30 sec delay for the diesel (well either instant or 30 secs) - once its running, AC wil start to cool/heat as needed (make sure you save it of when you get out)



Took most of the day for me to install - if I had to do again I would have had the dealer do it for $225 - good instructions but PITA splicing into the ECM
