Do you all have websites?

Well, I see on the Dodge Website that they are returning to NASCAR competition with the Intrepid. Way cool! So, I'm poking around the site, looking at some of the pictures. I see the typical NASCAR sponsors on the Dodge Intrepids: Kodiak, Coors, Cheerios, etc.

Then I see the following graphics on the side of one, with colors in black and yellow. Yep, "CATERPILLAR!" WHAT IS UP WITH THAT!!!!! Where is the Cummins sponsored car???? Soooo disappointed.

Oh well, you can check it out at http://www.4adodge.com/racing/nascar/bmp/wallpaper6. bmp

Scollins,
Cummins is sponsoring a Ford-Mark Martin #6. I dont want to comment any further about this(like Cummins will be in a Ford someday) Because some guys will start *****in and moanin LOL #ad

Yea, but ain't ya heard? Them Dodges will be running Chevy engines because DC didn't get one ready soon enough!
Oh the horror of it!
Sorry fellas, NASCAR to me has been a joke for the last 20 years. I see enough cars running in a line on the interstate.

Im with Gene... . nascar serves no purpose. As a fan of 'real racing', I just dont get it; it is what we road racers refer to as a "spec racer series", that is, one where everybody drives the same exact car and the best driver wins... fun for the driver, but boring as hell to watch. I would love to go down to the dealer and see a V8, 2door rear-drive Taurus!. . with a super-long wheelbase to boot! Like Gene sorta said... Cup racing was good back when they took a stock-bodied car off the lot, stripped the insides, bolted on some go-fast parts and a cage and went racing! Back then, "win on Sunday, sell on Monday" really meant something... todays cars have NOTHING to do with a Ford, a Chevy or a Dodge. There is no technology that will benefit us in future models... whats the point? Besides. . its all fixed anyway! I just see Hulk Hogan and big time wrestling, only with cars! Anybody watch the Daytona 24??

yup... the company that i work for sponsors the #43 car look for it...company's name is Ferguson... GO MOPAR!!along with cheerios?!oh well.

Sponsor has nothing to do with car make. Burtons team is CAT. Burtons people wanted the Dodge, and Dodge wanted Burton. CAT sponsors the guy who can get their name on tv the most. They could care less if it was in a Ford, Chevy, Dodge or Geo. Think I am kidding, they sponsor some geo in europe that races on grass fields. I guess its the equivilant of our midget races in a way.

I typically don't watch NASCAR racing, but will watch some of the major events. BUT, NASCAR is one of the most popular spectator sports in the US, and most of those spectators are quite impressionable. So, if they run out and buy a Dodge because of it, GREAT! As long as it keeps the company above water so I can buy a new Ram/Cummins every now and then, I'm happy!

Some of the racing I like to watch is Formula 1, off-road racing, the Dakar and of course, the Pike's Peak Climb. I especially like watching the big rigs run up Pike's Peak. CRAZY! #ad

Scott, you get Speedvision? Watch for a 1/2 hour show called Motorsport Mundial. . is a British production and will cover the European Truck Racing series!! These are road-racing diesel trucks, most are cab-over, single axle rigs. Mid engine, 6speed sequential race gearbox, full cage, water-cooled brakes, etc... very fast, very physical... tons o'fun!!
