tommy, i don't know the answer to that. i didn't like leaving the short pigtails, either, but eventually concluded that 1" of 18 ga wire was better than several feet. i'll let you know if i find any. also, please let me know if you find them. i'd redo my sockets if i could find sockets without wires on them. BTW, a well soldered and insulated connection is probably as good as the wire.
