According to FLEET OWNER MAGAZINE (April 2007 page #40) The new for 07 Sprinter will be available with the 3. 0 V6 turbo Diesel 154HP @ 280 lb ft



New for 07 is the gasoline engine 3. 5 V6 rated 254 HP @ 2,560 lb ft



Gotta wonder if Dodge Truck Ownwers will be converting to this new gasoline engine with that much torque available. The transmission may be the problem.



I don't know what kind of torque numbers the Cummins ISX is rated at, but I doubt that it's even close to what the new Dodge Sprinter makes.

I think the ISX tops out around 1850-1900, though dont hold me to that. Nowhere near 2560 ,though. Wonder if Bruce Malinson (diesel injection of Pittsburg) knows about this little beast?

the 5 banger is a great motor pulls the sprinter at 80 mph everywhere we go.

I do not know anyone you has the new v6 diesel.

Not up a hill it won't! Also, what type of diff is that they use in the Sprinters, looks awfully small to me.
