WHY not gooseneck instead of 5th wheel?

Sort Bed/Long Bed

alpenlite

I like the alpenlite fifth wheel trailers myself. After looking at my neighbors and driving up to chehais at uhlman rv at the dealer i am very impressed with the quality of product.

You two aren't related are you? Bob V and Dan V.

I have also heard good things about the alpenlites. Hopefully sometime this summer I will be shopping for a trailer or fifth wheel.

Not too sure I would want to buy a trailer that said Dodge all over it. I have had a hard time with Warranty issues with my Dodge Truck.

An interesting marketing angle. Kind of a new wrapper around a not-so-new trailer.

Wonder what the reaction will be when some people first see these units. If a CTD pulls up to a campground with a TT or 5th looking like that, wouldn't someone think that it is sponsored in some way by DC? How long before there is a knock on the door by a person looking for a freebee Dodge hat?

Also, what would happen if you went to trade it in? Just another excuse for an RV dealer to knock MORE off the unit's value- (I can hear it now... . ) "someone with a GM or a Ford won't touch your unit if I take it in on trade".

I just saw one of these yesterday at Cactus Country RV Park in Tucson (look for it Ron). It looked cool, but I'm guessing that resale value would be a problem as only a Dodge owner would want one. That cuts out a lot of the buying market.

Yep, we're brothers. I am also not too impressed with the trailers. If I get another FW it will have a bedroom slide. Probly go with the Mountianeer. Two slides with a bunk room in the back. Our Jayco is nice, but it only has only one slide.

Bob, have we all met your bro at one of the bomb partys?

I wouldn't worry too much about resale. If they're like many of the other trailers on the market, the decals will fall off before you sell! :-laf
