Competition Oh My Gosh Piers

hey Robbyram, have your father in law bring that chevelle to MM in Las Wages in May. I betcha we can find several rams that will kick that car's butt. Always have to remember, . . "There's always somebody faster, ... . and if the dodge ram can't do it, . . then we'll have to pull out the 10 sec. Duster or the dreaded '30 Coupe. Oh one more thing, ... . a blue printed engine is just an engine where they write down how the motor was balnaced so when the thing blows up they can put it back together the same way without balancing every part again.

The other day I had a chevy gasser try to pull a fast one on me. The road I was on goes from 1 lane to 2 lanes and back to 1 again in just over 1 block. He was going slow so when we get to the first light I get in the right lane and go around him. Well at the next light he just cant stand it and gets in the right lane with his turn signal on, like that's gonna fool anyone. Just for fun I left my box off. We both took off, me at about 3/4 throttle, and he starts to pull ahead of me, with just the little dd2's, so I reach down hit the go button and put the pedal to the carpet. This all happened in less than 100yds and let just say, he never had a prayer. I almost rearended the little car that pulled out in front of us though. These guys always want to do this when my truck is just barely up to whoopum temp. :D I think the straight 5" exhaust brings out the racer is everyone.

Hey RobbyRam

Please call me or send me your new email addy. I can't seem to get through on that Juno IP address.

Let's meet at Rohnert Park.

I don't drive on the street with the lil truck anymore. The slicks aren't too good in the rain. But I didn't have a lot of folks challenge me. It's not a sleeper lookin' rig with the B&M shifter standing tall on the tower we built, and the gauges, exhaust, etc.

Just because you would have blown your transmission to pieces by now, I will wait for my idiot-proof DTT transmission. :D:D:D

Andrew

Andrew... you are just jealous because you have the lazy man's transmission!! If you had a NV5600 or NV4500, the SBC would have been in by now, and you would be SCREAMING!! That's ok... dont care what the rest of the people say about you behind your back... I still think you're a fart smeller, I mean Smart feller!!! hehe, just kiddin with ya buddy!!

Now every kid in a gasser that has dual exhaust sticking strait out under the back bumper has it in for me. And with the diesels, all it normaly takes is a puff or two of smoke catch their eye!;) (Gassers don't seem to understand) Only problem is, often I am faced with a challenge and my poor truck just woken up on a 15 degree morning and is in no condition for racing!!!!

You just need to inject propane into the stacks and light it off. That would be cool! :D
