Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
We had a tractor/truck pull at the county fair on Sunday. It was the first REAL time I got to see a truck pull. It was more fun to watch the trucks pull than the tractors.
There were 6 or 7 Dodges/Cummins including 1 first genner. 2 of the Dodges full pulled as did 1 gas Chevy (early '80's?). Had plenty of Powerstrokes, including 1 w/stock 6. 0L. Even had an old Bronco pull. He did O. K. 'til the rear u-joint broke.
The 1 Dodge pulled 329' and the other 307' (both had stacks and were turned up= plenty of smoke
. Don't recall what the Chevy did. Unfortunatly the driver of the one Dodge on the pull-off grabbed to high of a gear and didn't get very far.
The 6. 0L did O. K. Ran out of power and traction at almost the same time. Man they are WAY to quiet. Couldn't hardly even hear the turbo.
Didn' t get to talk to any of the Dodge owners afterwards, they were in real hurry to leave.
Hoping to try it next year. Don't think my transmission is up to it at the moment, so I didn't enter. Hope to have an aftermarket one in before to long. Oo.
