Now that Dodge ram.org is unavailable does anyone have the document about disabling the AC in defrost mode. It was shown on the site at one time. http://dodgeram.org/tech/repair/HVAC/Defrost_AC.htm

I don’t have that doc, but I put my compressor on a manual switch so I can turn it on or off in any ventilation setting. It’s been a LONG time, but I think I removed the HVAC Control from the dash and cut the Brown/Orange wire, connected it to a switch I put in the dash, and grounded the other side of the switch.

Thanks Scott. I did the dodgeram mod to mine many years ago and have subsequently passed it on to others. I guess the old axiom about once on the net, always on the net isn't quite true. I will copy your schematic and pass it on.

Well, I guess, once again, I forget that my ‘95 is now wrapped in a ‘98 truck....

And to beat all, I got the wire wrong on the ‘98. It’s the Light Green/White.

Amazing, thanks. I added the prefix to the high/low beam headlight mod and pulled it up. Really cool!
