If so, does it actually have a plug on the side or back or bottom for an external antenna? I am trying to find out because my current phone (Nokia 3595) does not, and I want a phone that has an actual plug for an external antenna so I can hook it up to my Wilson Cellular truckers antenna I just bought.

I specifically am looking at the Nokia 6310i because it is a GSM phone (as is my 3595) and it is an offering of AT&T Wireless which is my provider, and I have always liked Nokia phones.

I sent an email to Nokia asking this very question, and their response was that they couldn't get that information, and referred me to a local cellular provider. That inspires confidence... ...

Thanks,

Tom

Gary, yeah, I did my research on the Wilson site, and saw exactly what you have posted. It's just that before spending any more $ on this cell phone thing, I wanted to be extra careful and certain that this other phone, the 6310i, does in fact have the external plug.

I stopped in at a local AT&T Wireless store at lunch today, and they said the 6310i is a popular phone in this area and none of their Sacramento stores have any in stock that I could look at. They did, however, have a hands free car kit for that model, and it does very clearly have a plug that goes into the back side of the phone for the external antenna.

So, all those things together lead me to feel confident that if I can get a 6310i, and the Wilson adapter for it, I'll be good to go.
