I called the Ebay store that sells the sachs items, they have the part # for the 94-97 13" that is a K0087-01, but they say there is a footnote in their book that it fits 93-89... Anyone has any experience w/ this? Is this the one w/ the cast iron cover? Incidentally I called most of the autoparts stores in the area and the cheapest I could get a LUK kit for was $437+ tax, more expensive than the ebay sachs w/ shipping. Some other places wanted $600 for a clutch kit! Everything is special order or nla locally also, probably something we'll be seeing w/ everything else on the truck soon.

94-97 trucks didn't have a 13" clutch, only a 12". That said I bet if you ordered one from that particular store, it would show up a 12"er and say Luk on it. South Bend clutch, last I heard, carries the stock Sachs clutch. Beware though, they'll bad mouth the Sachs, won't want to sell it to ya, and will try to sell you one of their offerings.

Found this in one of my old posts:

Facing-Thickness total - . 394"

Total Pressure - 2340

No. of Diaphragm Spring Fingers - 24

I talked to the guy for a while, he has 2 different #'s, one for the 12 1/4" and the 13", which is listed as an "upgrade" for a 94-97:confused: . I'm pretty sure its going to say LUK on it also since he went on saying clutch manufacturers buy certain things from each other, etc. He still had a better price for it than I could get a LUK locally. If I have a stock sachs in the truck I'm probably going to get it relined/rebuilt if I can find someone to do it. I'll call south bend too and see what they want for a new one, but I'm sure its not going to be cheap.
