Help out the Military overseas!!

Hi. I'm looking at purchasing a 2004 Arctic Cat 650 Vtwin. It's the one with the tried and true Kawasaki prairie 650 engine. I love that V twin, and it looks way better than the prairie itself, and has IRS. With that said, I'm wondering how the arctic cat chassis hold up, etc. Thanks.

You will love this Machine!! I have about 200 miles on mine, a '04 650. It has been so far unstopable, the chassis seems to be well built, and for such a big machine handles well. If you have any questions PM me!

i owned a '02 650 prairie

i traded it for an '03 500 manual 'cat

the 650 is the best atv motor ever

the 'cat has the best suspension ever (most clearance most travel)

the 650 cat has 26 inch radials

good friend has one

loves it just has a limp mode problem ... dealer put in a new computer and has been fine the last few months

i prefer the manual transmission or i'd have a 650

gota love an atv that you can bolt on a set of 28's stock with no rubbing

I've rode one and IMO I think Cat's suspension is kind of clunky comparied to other makes. It just doesn't seem to react fast enough for my tastes. Just never seems to be doing what it should fast enough. I ride my utility ATV's at a pretty fast pace though so for slower riders it may be just fine. Motor is nice but seems a little slower than the one in the Kawy and I thought the brakes where way too soft. These are just my opinions though so my best advise would be to test drive one or find a buddy with one and ride his first. I still think the old tride and true Sportsman 500HO is one of the best suspended quads out there for a more aggressive rider. You can toss one of them around about anywhere and the suspension will just laugh and keep on truckin. One good thing about ATV's now is all the manufacturers make some awesome ATV's for about any style of rider. Cat does have a nice rack system though that lets you do all kinds of cool things. :)
