Does anyone make gauge pillar mounts in colors?

I know they can be painted and I have seen them in woodgrain etc. What I want is one that is molded in my interior color, just like the factory plastic. I would be interested in buying several of them, if they are avaliable.

I got my paint code for the interior color and bought a spray can over the counter at the dodge dealer, worked great , looks great too... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Kevin

As far as I could find, and I did research gauge mounts extensively last year, Kevin is correct. Only 2 manufacturers of gauge mounts for our trucks, both are black plastic. They do paint up VERY nicely though... Have Fun, Jim G.

Yeah Kevin has the right idea. I when to my local stealer and ordered a can of the spray paint. Then had to postpone my appointment to have my gauges installed because the stealer was late getting my spraypaint.



Didn't even sand my bezel, just sprayed it and it looks factory.



I feel bad because I was going to get the name and address of a fellow CTD'r at Black Mountain's grand opening and send him my can where he wouldn't have to buy it but I forgot.

Having a little autobody background I had the interior scanned for the color then had a 1/2 pint can mixed and bought some plastic prep also to condition it after cleaning it with thinner and prior to shooting it.

I have heard of pillar mounts where the color is in the plastic, but have never seen one. We paint our mounts with factory colors, but the real trick is the prep of the plastic. It should be wiped down with a plastic solvent before starting and plastic primer needs to be applied before the paint so that it will adhere properly. If the paint is applied in this way it is very durable and matches the truck interior very closely.
