I was driving to work last night and my truck died completely stranded in the middle of nowhere. I checked for codes and it registerd 0237,0628,0193,0113,So my question is is this the edge throwing these codes or is it something like my lift pump giving out. I am still waiting to here back from D. C. I bought this truck for reliability not to be stranded. Thanks DAVE...

Dave,

This list is for the '03 it may be the same for the '04

P0113 Intake Air / Charge Temperature Sensor High

P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor High

P0237 Turbocharger Boost Pressure Sensor Low

P0628 Fuel Pump Relay Circuit Low, or Fuel Lift Pump Control Circuit Low

I was wondering if it threw codes also, seems like anything you put on the truck throws codes. As for reliability once you start changing things you cant blame reliability on DC, thats the chance you take when you add aftermarket I guess.

CODE

The 237 and 197codes sound like they might be related to the EZ, since it fools the computer. the others do not sound like they are related, since the EZ isn't involved with that part of the system. IMHO

I agree with Scrappy, you are going to remove all evidence of the Edge box before you take it in I hope. I know I have ran them (Edge EZ) for 150k+ mile and never had a code due to the Edge.

Yeah i guess you can't really blame the reliability when you got it chipped but with only 12000miles on it you wouldn't think this would happen. IT turns out that it was the lift pump and all those codes were trown in conjunction with the lift pump cratering. Thanks DAVE...
