After I went to the dyno and poofed my turbo with a COMP box I realized wow that ran good with it on level 3 so why did I think I needed to go to level 5?Cuz I guess I'm a junkie!Anyway I am not to familiar with the Edge EZ and was just wondering what all it consists of Because I am considering purchasing one. Does it do what I need?I would like to get better mileage and the same power as that COMP on level 3. And is it adjustable?Enlighten me thanks... ... :D

EZ would be like disconnecting your comp wire or running on level 1.

The EZ has 3 adjustable settings via a jumper for low boost smoke control, but it has no real effect on total horsepower.

So, you get boost fooling, additional timing, a little fuel and that's it. I don't remember the specific setting on the EZ, but you get 100% fuel at 0 psi, at 10psi or at 20 psi. Anyway, something along those lines. Maybe we will have a reply that has a few more specifics.

Below you'll find what you want to know about the EZ but I'll summarize a little bit of it for you. There are 3 jumper settings on the EZ. The basically control when the fuel is added in the boost range and also control smoke for different sized injectors.

Setting 3 - 67% more fuel is added at 0 boost and 100% is added at 10psi.

Setting 2 - 50% more fuel is added at 0 boost and 100% is added at 15psi.

Setting 1 - 33% more fuel is added at 0 boost and 100% is added at 20 psi.

Setting 3 is obviously the more powerful and it is fairly easy to tell the difference between them when you get used to driving in a certain setting. I first drove mine in 3 and now have swapped to 1 for smoke control and it's less of a timing advance. Since it's fairly easy to hit 10psi compared to 20psi in normal driving, I had to learn how to get used to the feel of the box all over again.

It's a good box and I like the fact that it can be stacked with a TST, which is what I'm going to do next.

And yes, it is a boost fooler and will keep the ECM from throwing overboost codes.

Is no jumper the same as disconnecting the DTC plug?

Thanks
