does f*rd own cummins???

or have any controlling stock in cummins? i have had conversations with various people that tell me that ford owns cummins because mark martin's (nascar) car was a ford and sponsered by cummins. if this is so, then why doesn't ford use the cummins B engine series in its pickups??? i have surfed both of their web sites and came up with nothing. somebody please set this straight... with proof if ya could.
