does ford own cummins

i had to take my grandpas new 6. 0 ford to worked on the tourbo went out again it is the 3 one in 10000 miles and thay still dont know what is wrong, and the sales man there told me that ford owned cummins and he did not know why thay dont put that motor in fords. i have looked on cummins web site and can not find any thing. i am 22 and been messing dodge cummins sinse i was 16 and want to know what to tell them die hard ford fans

This whole thing got started because Long ago Ford owned a small amount of Cummins stock. They sold their stock a long time ago and have never purchased more.

To illustrate why you do not trust your salesman. I was waiting to pick up my first CTD a '99 then the salesman todl me that it had glow plugs. When I told him that it did not he told me I was wrong. I had to pick his own sales brochure and show him in there.
