2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Does "Infinity" speaker mean an amplified speaker?

If a speaker is an "Infinity" designation then does that mean it is an amplified type?

I would imagine so... the infinity system in mine (2001) has amped speakers... I know this from running into a little quirk when changing the head unit...

My Infinity speakers are quiting intermittently on the left side only. I had it checked out by a local radio shop. He said the amplified door speaker had input but no output. Need a new one. None in local junk yards. None at the dealer.

Anyone have a MOPAR part no. for one and what do they cost???
