I have a 2009 6. 7(see sig. ) that is bone stock. Now that it has over 100K, I am contemplating casting the religion out of it for better fuel mileage. There is a guy in our town that has an Edge Attitude/Juice part #30107 that he removed from his 2007 6. 7 when he sold his truck. I had a similar system on my '06 for 250K and loved it.

My question is: Will this fit my truck and were there any changes to the 2009 that this unit would cause problems? I am aware of the crack down on H&S tuners and others by BIG BROTHER Government.

Thanx in advance,

Barry

Well that's what I thought but the part number is no longer listed. I presume it is because of Big Brother and now EDGE has gone total legit. Word I got a few days ago is H&S tuners was raided by Big Brother and units that had been shipped to dealers are selling like hot cakes(have not verified this)... ... ... ... ... ..... If this Edge would work, I would prefer it as I already know and like the product.

Sorry I couldnt give a better answer but I just don't see any Edge products on trucks anymore. All Smarty and H&s with a few Bulley Dogs

No problem. I have been out of the loop since my last upgrade was to my '06... ... ... ... Everyone says the H&S is the way to go... ... ... ..... but now trying to find one may be a problem.

I'm not really after more power. Just better fuel mileage and get rid of the EGR and DPF for longer engine life and cleaner oil changes.

Barry,
I think that H&S products were so hot because you did not need to add gages to the truck. The H&S included the gage package in the display and did monitor the engine parameters with the OBDII port except for the EGT which needed a probe added to the exhaust manifold.
I have been using the Smarty SR67 since early 09 with no issues on my truck and followed the instructions to a tee and have been code free since then. You can still buy a Smarty JR or SR and then have someone provide you a copy of the ME file. The Smarty will take either the US compliant file or a ME file that is down load on to it.
The Smarty will require gages to be added to monitor the engine parameters. What I like about the SMARTY is that it is a standalone system that is not required to be kept in the truck such as the H&S or Edge Attitude tuners.
