Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Does Superchips MAX Microtuner do boost fooling?

My cousin has a 2001 ETC with a Superchips MAX Microtuner. However, he is still running stock boost levels, and EGT climbs fast. Anybody know if the Superchips tuner will fool the ECM so he can install a boost elbow to raise boost levels, or will the ECM sense an overboost condition and defuel?

They do not boost fool. Haisleys sell a fooler and so does Quadzilla I believe.
